1. Do you receive funds from the City of Boston? 

No, the Boston Preservation Alliance is not a City agency.  The Alliance is a nonprofit 501c3 tax-exempt organization (EIN# 04-2748390). Donations to the Alliance are fully tax-deductible within the limits of the law.

2. Can I become a sustaining donor? 

Donors who wish to be sustaining supporters of the Alliance may do so through recurring gift. You can establish a weekly, monthly or yearly recurring gift online. Your continued support ensures our ability to advocate for preservation of Boston’s unique historic character. 

3. Do you accept matching gift from my employer? 

Yes! Double or triple the impact of your gift by securing a match through your employer. Please visit your employer’s Human Resource office or web portal for necessary forms and contact us for processing. Please use our EIN# and have the check sent to the address listed below. Thank you for considering this opportunity to expand your support of the Alliance.

4. Can I make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one? Can I give the gift of membership?

The Alliance graciously accepts donations as a gift in honor or memory.  If you wish to honor a loved one, friend, or colleague in this way, please contact Paula Antonevich for details. Giving the gift of preservation is easy! You may indicate the recipient on the online form, or contact us, Admin@bostonpreservation.org.

5. Can I direct a gift to the Alliance through my Donor Advised Fund?

Yes! If you wish to direct a gift through your donor advised fund, please use our EIN# and have the check sent to the address listed below. Thank you for selecting the Boston Preservation Alliance as a designated charitable organization of your Fund. 

6. Can I include the Alliance in my estate plans?

Yes! If you are designating the Boston Preservation Alliance in your financial or estate plans, please contact Elise for details. The Alliance is honored to be part of your charitable legacy.

7. Do you need volunteers? 

Right now we have limited opportunities to volunteer but welcome you to share your name and interest with us for future outreach

9. What is your fiscal year?
The Alliance’s fiscal year follows the calendar year, January 1 – December 31.
