Heart Bombing
Feb. 15 | 1 — 4 pm | Amrheins, 80 W. Broadway, Boston

Valentine’s Day is approaching and that means only one thing—it’s time to dust off those markers and share some love (Heart Bombs) for old buildings! What are heart bombs? They are valentines and love letters to historic places, local landmarks, and places both safe and threatened that are important to our communities.
This year the Alliance and the Young Advisors will share our love for one of Boston’s venerable institutions—Amrheins. Amrheins dates to 1890 and is the oldest bar in South Boston. It’s also the oldest hand-carved bar in America and home to Boston’s very first draft beer pump! Join us to craft some love for American history and pristinely poured pints. We’ll bring the supplies, you bring the creativity.
Several of Boston’s legacy businesses have shuttered over the last year. There is no better time to share your love for Boston’s unique neighborhood character. Gather your place-loving friends and join us.
Advanced registration is helpful so we know how much space to reserve at Amrheins.

We also encourage you to create valentines for the places you think matter. Share your image with #SaveMyBoston and #IHeartSavingPlaces. Let’s shower this city with tangible expressions of affection and devotion. And please continue to share the places you think matter in Boston and we’ll add them to our map.
