Board of Young Advisors — Applications to join open through November 4th!
The Boston Preservation Alliance’s Board of Young Advisors is a cohort of rising professionals united by their passion for Boston’s built and cultural heritage. This diverse group supports and amplifies the Alliance’s mission, bringing together individuals from various personal and professional backgrounds, both within and beyond the field of historic preservation.
Applicants interested in serving as a Young Advisor should first read and understand the expectations and rules of membership as outlined below.
BPA Young Advisor Expectations
Applications to join the YA Board are currently open through Monday, November 4th. YAs are required to live within the Boston metropolitan area, be under 40 years old, and have an active membership at the time of joining the board (discounted memberships are available!). As a YA, you’ll be expected to attend YA board meetings and events, Alliance events, participate in helping plan YA events, sit on one Alliance Board of Directors committee, and stay apprised of the Alliance’s programming and advocacy efforts.
