Humphreys Street Studios

Humphreys Street Studios was founded by Joseph Wheelwright and Gneal Widett. Humphreys Street Studios is located in Dorchester, MA, and was founded in 1992. It was developed in the long shuttered Daloz Dry Cleaners building. The studio provides a workspace for a diverse community including fine artists, illustrators, sculptors, designers, furniture makers, photographers, carpenters, metal workers, fabricators, and more. My experience at Humphreys Street Studios was good because I got to see the studio and we were on camera. The people were also very nice. My favorite part about visiting the studio was when I was able to play on the swing, meet the blacksmith Andy, and see The Creative Studio store. It is a clothing store that focuses on team sports for schools and business. Aaron Higginbottom and Ralph Sanon work at The Creative Studio and are apparel entrepreneurs.

Humphreys Street Studios went up for sale in 2019 because the two owners passed away. They want to knock down Humphreys Street Studios and make it into an apartment complex.

The Creative Studio is important because football and basketball need jerseys for the teams.
